Who We Are

The National Design Collective (the NDC) is a venue for new classic design. Our mission is to spread great design that will last – products that are true to materials, functional, clever, and simple.

Founded by Scott Bodaly and Heather Lam, the NDC began as a result of excessive creative energy and object curiosity.  We value using local production, recognizing the value of being able to talk to craftspeople and having an intimate understanding of the manufacturing processes.

Our work has been featured in publications internationally and most recently has been used to furnish the new Canadian Consulate in London, England.

We're digging the National Design Collective... using ID skills to make fun stuff just for the sake of learning and experimentation, and document it all.
