Although we make every effort to keep sufficient stock of items listed on our site, occasionally we do sell out of certain products and sizes. If you have ordered a certain item and we are out of stock on the item you have ordered, we will notify you via e-mail. Any changes will be reflected in your order total as well as your shipping confirmation.

Shipping cost + method + disclosure
Please be advised that for all US and International Purchases, the National Design Collective is not responsible for any Cross - Border fees (Customs/ Duties etc.) which may be incurred. Any additional fees after an order has left the National Design Collective are the responsibility of the purchaser.
All shipping costs include content insurance, insured up to the amount of paid goods (excluding shipping costs).

Risk of loss and title for merchandise shipped internationally will pass to you upon our delivery to the carrier. Your order may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. You will be responsible for paying additional charges for customs clearance; we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country; please contact your local customs office for further information. Additionally, when ordering from thenationaldesigncollective.com(.ca), you are the importer and must comply with all laws and regulations of the destination country. You authorize us to designate a carrier to act as your agent with the relevant customs and tax authorities in the destination country, to clear your merchandise and advance (on your behalf) any duties and taxes owed by you.
Your privacy is important to us, and we know that you care about how information about your order is used and shared. We would like our international customers and customers shipping products internationally to be aware that cross-border shipments are subject to opening and inspection by customs authorities.
Also, we may provide certain order, shipment, and product information, such as description, to our international carriers, and this information may be communicated by the carriers to customs authorities to facilitate customs clearance and comply with local laws.
If the order is a gift, the package is marked "Gift," but the cost of the item is still stated on the customs form. Customs authorities require us to state the value of the gift item directly on the package.
Refused Shipments - If you decide to refuse any shipments from thenationaldesigncollective.com(.ca), you are responsible for the original shipping charges to you, and duties, taxes and/or customs charges that are incurred on the purchase (on both the original and return shipments), and the cost of returning the package to thenationaldesigncollecitve.com(.ca). This amount will be subtracted from your merchandise refund.

Returns + Exchanges
What is our Return Policy?
If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may send it back to us for an exchange or a refund. Returns and exchanges are accepted within 14 days of receipt for items that have not been ALTERED OR DAMANGED, and with original packaging attached. All discounted items are final sale and cannot be returned.
How do I make a return or exchange?
Simply email us at info@thenationaldesigncollective.ca and explain the reason why you would like to return your purchase. We will then confirm and authorize the reason for return. Please note that we will not accept a return unless we have given writtent authorization. Securely pack and seal the return merchandise and invoice in an appropriate shipping box or envelope (ideally the original package would be sufficient), and send back to us using an insured service to the return address. Insuring the package will provide you with recourse on your package, as we cannot accept responsibility for packages that we do not ship ourselves. We are not responsible for missing packages. Returns should be sent prepaid. We will not accept collect on delivery (C.O.D)
Processing of Returns
Upon receipt of returned merchandise, thenationaldesigncollective.com(ca) has the right to deny credits if the goods do not meet the return policy requirements. Exchanges/refunds are processed within 14 days after we receive the merchandise. You will receive a confirmation by email when your exchanges/refunds are processed. We will refund the credit card you use for the original purchase for the purchase price of the merchandise, excluding shipping costs if there are any. Shipping costs will only be refunded when the return is a result of an error on our part.
Please note that your banking institution may require additional days to process and post this transaction to your account once they have received the information from thenationaldesigncollective.com(.ca).
Can I Return or Exchange an item to its purchased retail store?
Yes. You can return or exchange any item you bought on the site to the store. As long as it is within 14 days of the receiving date and the sales receipt is present.

What are the payment methods?
We are currently only accepting Paypal.
Sales Tax. Who gets charged, and how much?
Ontario residents are charged full PST (8%) and GST (5%)
All other provinces are charged only GST (5%)
U.S.A and International customers are not charged any Canadian sales tax.
